Lady Gaga’s All Purple Swag On The Cover Of Vogue (PHOTOS)

Lady Gaga slays the couture game on the cover of Vogue's September issue.

Everyone knows the September issue is every fashion mag's VIP issue (ad dollahs, yo!), so who better to grace Vogue's September cover than Lady Gaga. Exactly, nobody! In fact, not only was Gaga given the honor of being the September cover girl, but the Lady's cover marks the 120th anniversary of the magazine. Decked in a structured, bright purple Marc Jacobs ball gown, Mother Monster showed off her hourglass figure while doing some incredible smizing. And then there's the hair, which is so fierce it should probably just be given its own cover. But moving right along...

Only Gaga could work this look. We look terrible in hats.

Inside the issue, Gaga discusses her vision for her "Born This Way Ball" extravaganza, explaining, "I really wanted to break the mold of what modern touring is now." (Mission accomplished, FYI.) Later, Gaga also touched upon what inspires her to make music: "I don't really make records for people to listen to and go, 'Wow, she's a genius.' I'd really like you to order a drink, maybe kiss the person you came with that evening or rediscover something about your past that makes you feel even more brave." Now if only I had someone to kiss, that'd work out really great. The Vogue September issue hits stands Aug. 14.
