Today feels like a really good day to think about, talk about, and (try to) twerk like Miley Cyrus. She just nabbed a whopping three 2013 MTV Video Music Awards nominations, recently had an epic Honey Boo Boo moment, and is now (kinda) letting us hear a sample of her upcoming Dr. Luke-produced jam, "Wrecking Ball"!

Unfortch, when we say "preview," we REALLY mean.... basically nothing. Like, we essentially have very little idea of what Miley's "Wrecking Ball" will sound like, save for about three seconds of the chorus. But those crucial three seconds DO give us a meaty lyric ("I came in like a wrecking ball"), as well as a hint about the song's instrumentation, which is, in true Miley form, LOUD AND BADASS. Like a bona fide rocker. So we're fine with this monstrous tease. For now.

And in other Miley-centric news, the "We Can't Stop" singer recently spoke to the Toronto Sun, where she proudly discussed her new(ish) short haircut and all the rumors that go along with it: "Everyone said I was a lesbian but I'm like, 'Being a lesbian isn't a bad thing. So if you think I look like I'm a lesbian, I'm not offended. You can call me much worse.' I’ve been called much worse. Being a lesbian is a compliment more than what else they call me." So, in case you were still on the fence about it, Miley Cyrus is the effing best and that's the end. Goodbye!
