Listen To Ke$ha’s Acoustic Version Of ‘Die Young,’ Part Of The ‘Deconstructed’ EP

Listen to Ke$ha's stripped-down version of "Die Young."

We love a good Ke$ha pop song as much as the next kid, but that doesn't mean we wouldn't want to hear her ultra-produced records stripped down a bit! Because we've studied heard her voice, and we know it's REALLY good underneath all that synth. Well, lucky for us, that's precisely what Ke$ha does on her Deconstructed EP, a terrific collection of minimalist Ke$ha songs, including a bare-bones rendition of her latest rager, "Die Young."

Listen to Ke$ha's "Die Young (Deconstructed)" after the jump.

Produced by Greg Kurstin, Deconstructed comes packaged in Warrior's fan edition and will include acoustic versions of “Supernatural” (as seen on Warrior) along with "Blow" and "The Harold Song," both from 2010's Cannibal EP. Deconstructed will also exclusively feature a cover of Dolly Parton's No. 1 song "Old Flames Can't Hold a Candle To You," which was cowritten by Ke$ha's mother, Pebe Sebert!

We'll admit we weren't sure what to expect, but Ke$ha's acoustic "Die Young" is slow, relaxed, and totally organic sounding. Set to a simple and sparse track, "Die Young (Deconstructed)" has no bells and whistles -- just Ke$ha's actual singing voice on full display. In case you had your doubts, she's really good! Her voice is sweet, simple, and pretty. Ke$ha, we love your pop stuff, but please also don't be afraid to unplug every now and then! We dig.

Ke$ha's exclusive Deconstructed EP will be available at www.keshasparty.com as part of the Warrior - Fan Edition Warrior - Fan Pack on Dec. 4.
