Listen To Previews Of Two New Katy Perry Songs, ‘Wide Awake’ And ‘Dressin’ Up’

Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream' re-release 'The Complete Confection' drops in March.

Katy Perry is gearing up for the re-release of her smash album Teenage Dream. Aptly titled Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection, the disc is a special edition of Katy's double-platinum-certified album featuring all 12 tracks from the original Teenage Dream, including "California Gurls," "Teenage Dream," "Firework," "E.T.," "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)," and "The One That Got Away." (In case you forgot, all of those songs peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart. Thought you knew.)

Katy's also included a few new songs on this album as well (!!!). We've already heard and obsessed over "Part Of Me," and today we're treated to snippets from two more new tracks --"Wide Awake" and "Dressin' Up." (Best day ever?) "Wide Awake" is a midtempo ballad that informs an ex that Katy's still strong and happy without him. And yes, we know what  you're thinking -- this song must be about Katy's soon-to-be ex-husband, Russell Brand. While that's not confirmed per se, the lyrics to "Wide Awake" do seem pretty on-point for a chick who just got divorced: "Falling from cloud nine/ Crashing from the high /I’m letting go tonight.../ I’m not losing any sleep/ I picked up every piece/ And landed on my feet/ Don’t need nothin’ to complete myself.” Hell yes, Katy!

In the sultry "Dressin' Up," Katy coyly croons about spicing ish up in the bedroom -- by playing dress up for her dude: "Pick up/ Are you dreaming?/ A librarian/ Dominatrix/ Oh boy, tell me your fantasy/ Tonight's the night.../ Are you ready for your blood to rise?/ Tonight's the night I'm dressing up for you." Werque yours, girl. Also, are we the only ones thinking Russell Brand must feel VERY TERRIBLE that Katy's not dressing up for him anymore? Just sayin.'

Katy Perry's Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection is out March 27.
