Marvel’s Midnight Suns Switch Version Canceled, Launches For Xbox One And PS4 On May 11

Marvel's Midnight Suns, the tactical role-playing game from 2022, is finally releasing on Xbox One and PS4 on May 11, but developer Firaxis also shared the bad news that the Nintendo Switch version of the game will no longer be releasing.

In a blog post sharing the release date for both the final DLC pack, Blood Storm--which features Storm of the X-Men--and the Xbox One and PS4 versions, Firaxis briefly mentioned that the Nintendo Switch version of Marvel's Midnight Suns is "no longer planned." Not much had been revealed about the potential Switch release, which was supposed to come out sometime after the Xbox One and PS4 versions.

As for the Xbox One and PS4 versions of Midnight Suns, the three previous DLC packs featuring Deadpool, Venom, and Morbius, along with the new Storm DLC, will be available for purchase at launch via either the Legendary Edition of the game or the Midnight Suns season pass, letting players use the DLC characters in their first playthrough. Finishing the story missions for all four DLC characters unlocks a final boss fight against a mythical monster.
