MOTU: Skeletor Deluxe Timed Edition (1/6 Scale) (On-Sale Info)
Some days you don’t like to feel good … some days you like to feel evil. So as a follow-up to last year’s He-Man Deluxe 1/6 Scale Figure, Mondo is proud to present the return of Skeletor to our Masters of the Universe line.
Our Skeletor Deluxe 1/6 Scale Figure is the definitive version, featuring some of our favorite accessories from the original minicomics and 80s Mattel releases. Everything about this figure is completely brand new, with improved functionality from top to bottom … including new and improved waist articulation for a much wider range of motion!
Just as with He-Man, this deluxe figure took a total team effort. We once again entrusted MOTU expert Emiliano Santalucia with creating the concept art and redesigning our Skeletor. We set out to upgrade absolutely everything, from the core body to the armor, while remaining true to the Mondo aesthetic.
After we had our dream Skeletor, Tommy Hodges created a wholly brand new sculpt, and Mark Bristow nailed the paint. Florian Bertmer provided amazing work with the packaging design once more, and Raúl Barrero utilized his custom-made Snake Mountain for the jaw-dropping figure photography.
Skeletor’s Standard Armor, Alcala Portrait and Terror Claws reference the original minicomics, while his Classic Portrait, Battle Armor and Dragon Blaster Armor are callbacks to the 80s Mattel line.
The dreadful Dragon Figure is a completely articulated mini-figure, and our Mondo Skull Redux Portrait is an original in-house take on our favorite Overlord of Evil. With a wired frame fabric cape, plus both fabric and PVC hoods, there are endless ways to display him!
