PowerA already has one of the best collections of third-party Switch controllers on the market, but the catalog will grow even larger over the next few weeks. Six new wired controllers are dropping through August, all of which feature gorgeous designs inspired by Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon. Better yet is their price tag--with each controller clocking in at less than $30. Regardless of which gamepad you preorder, you’ll be treated to two mappable back buttons, a 3.5mm jack, detachable 10-foot USB cable, and a two-year limited warranty. All of the products are also officially licensed by Nintendo. The most muted design can be found on the Valiant Link Controller, which uses a dark gray art style and features a massive image of Link over the face buttons. Off on the left is a small Hylian Crest, with the back of the controller a simple white with no extra designs. Most of the other designs are incredibly flashy and eye-catching. The Mushroom Kingdom Friends design is particularly cool, as it features Mario, Yoshi, and Toad. Meanwhile, Pikachu Evolution includes all three forms of the iconic Pokemon. Then there's the Laughing Pikachu model, is a brilliant red with yellow/red analog sticks and a small Pikachu face in the center of the controller. The Hyrule Defender model takes a similar approach, although it’s entirely green except for some white and yellow around the analog sticks and a few Zelda-inspired graphics.
