Britney debuts "Ooh La La" from the "The Smurfs 2" soundtrack.

We already knew that Britney Spears was going to record her upcoming eighth album with will.i.am and was prepping to take over Las Vegas, but apparently Brit was hiding something CRUCIAL from us! And when we say "something crucial," we're obviously talking about Brit's brand-new jam, "Ooh La La," from the upcoming film "The Smurfs 2." Tailor-made for summer, "Ooh La La"'s got the perfect warm-weather elements: easy, breezy acoustic guitar, a simple-to-learn sing-along chorus, a major dance breakdown -- just what you need for those sunny days at the beach. Well, except for sunblock. We ALWAYS forget that!

On the Dr. Luke-produced, sun-drenched pop song, Britney appeals to the little guys (fitting for Smurfs, wouldn't you say?) by telling them that they don't need to be a big shot to get with her: "You don't have to look like a movie star / Ooh I think you're good just the way you are / Tell me if you could/ Would you up and run away with me?" (That sound you hear is all the guys in America collectively screaming "YES," then throwing each other out a window.)

Look, we know Britney's been busy shopping with her new boyfriend, David Lucado, and being the best mom EVAR, but even though it's been two years since her last solo single, listening to "Ooh La La" kinda sounds like she never left the building! Now, excuse us while we throw on some shades and throw a towel down on the beach. Gotta work on our base tan!
