Joey Bada$$ may not remember much of the '90s (he was born in '95), but he is undeniably a '90s child. Just look at songs like "Unorthodox," "Wendy N Becky," and "Underground Airplay": Each track sounds like it came straight from the era of The Notorious B.I.G., 2Pac, slap bracelets, and "Seinfeld."

Now, on his new song, "95 Til Infinity," a direct nod to Souls of Mischief's "93 Til Infinity," Joey destroys a floaty, spacey beat that would also fit in perfectly with Buzzfeed's favorite decade. Lace up your L.A. Lights or British Knights, folks. It's a '90s party!

The next cut from his forthcoming Summer Knights mixtape, "95 Til Infinity" features the MTV Artist To Watch rhyming circles around the Lee Bannon-produced beat. "Every time I drop a line, it touch like five placentas/ Schooling your offspring/ Drop heat all spring and stay hot for five Novembers," Joey rips.

OK, even if Joey wasn't technically old enough to drive to Sam Goody (R.I.P.) to buy All Eyez on Me because, you know, he was still in diapers, it’s clear his influences are firmly rooted in the decade of "The Fresh Prince." And it's not all that crazy to imagine Joey's music blasting out of a giant boombox, probably while a bunch of dudes hang on a stoop drinking Hi-C Ecto Cooler. (Also: BRING BACK ECTO- COOLER.)
