New Song: Justin Bieber, ‘Boyfriend’

Justin Bieber's get a little R&B on his latest single "Boyfriend."

Breathe a sigh of relief, Beliebers. Your beloved leader Justin Bieber's long-awaited new single "Boyfriend" is finally out! And obviously, it's crazy dope. Produced by Mike Posner, the R&B-tinged "Boyfriend" hits all the right marks -- there's a sick beat, some rapping by Bieber's alter ego Shawty Mane and most importantly, Bieber showcases his sweet falsetto which further proves that Justin's voice is like a fine wine, maturing seamlessly with age. (That's not weird I just wrote that, right?)

Listen to Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend" after the jump.

Conceptually, "Boyfriend" speaks about all the amazing things Justin Bieber would do if he was your boyfriend: "If I was your boyfriend, I’d never let you go/ I can take you places you ain’t never been before/ Baby, take a chance or you’ll never ever know/ I got money in my hands that I’d really like to blow/ Chillin' by the fire while we eatin’ fondue." And sure, while I'd love to fantasize that Biebs is singing about me and him chillaxin' on the beach dipping crusty French bread into a giant pot of expensive melted cheese, I'm a realist! You and I both know that this song is a slap in the face a reminder about the incredibly amazing stuff Selena Gomez gets to experience on a daily basis in real life. But whatever, maybe this is a good thing/a sign that I should start idolizing someone my own age. Or at least try to. Baby steps, guys.
