New Song: Justin Timberlake Featuring Jay-Z, ‘Suit & Tie’

Listen to Justin Timberlake's new song, "Suit & Tie."

Oh, JUST A BRAND-NEW JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE JAM!

Remember that time we saw a random photo of Justin Timberlake on the phone and we were all like, "Maybe he's talking to Timbaland about his new album??" That was just wishful thinking at the time, but guys, IT'S LITERALLY POSSIBLE WE WERE RIGHT! Because Justin Timberlake's new song, "Suit & Tie," produced by *cough cough* Timbaland and featuring JAY-Z, just dropped, and it's so good I want to call my mom and thank her for giving birth to me so I could hear it and then call Lynn Harless and thank her for giving birth to Justin, which I've been meaning to do anyway. But, like, OF COURSE it's that good since one doesn't usually stage a dramatic Twitter countdown, film an ominous "I'm ready" video, and hire someone to create a countdown WEBSITE if your new ish ain't EN FUEGO.

Listen to Justin Timberlake's "Suit & Tie" featuring Jay-Z after the jump.

Set to a retro, horn-laden beat, Justin's silky falsetto is front and center as he croons about getting decked in his Friday best (although we're definitely not scoffing at Justin's Tuesday best): "And as long as I've got my suit and tie/ I'mma leave it all on the floor tonight/ And you got fixed up to the nines/ Let me show you a few things." Shortly after, Justin instructs: "Get out your seat, Hov." Here's where Jay-Z chimes in, spitting even more rhymes about high-class duds: "Tom Ford tuxedos for no reason/ All saints for my angel/ Alexander Wang too." (The fact that Jigga's "Angel" is named Beyoncé makes the whole listening experience 100,000 times better, BTW.)

In an open letter to his fans, Justin not only revealed that his third solo album, The 20/20 Experiencewould arrive this year, but he was also candid about getting back in the studio after all this time: "I just went into the studio and started playing around with some sounds and songs. It was probably the best time I've had in my career... Just creating with no rules and/or end goal in mind and really enjoying the process." And it shows! Survey says a hearty "YES!" to "Suit & Tie." Don't be afraid to give it a few listens, either -- this song is a grower.
