Little Mix team up with Missy Elliott on their brand-new single, "How Ya Doin?"

You and I both know that when a pop/hip-hop legend like Missy Elliott comes out of hiding drops an assist on your new single, IT'S A BIG EFFING DEAL. That in mind, "X Factor U.K." girl group Little Mix is probably riding higher than high right now since Missy just lent a verse to the girls' fourth single off their debut album DNA, "How Ya Doin?"

Featuring a hefty sample from De La Soul's "Ring Ring Ring (Ha Ha Hey)," the Fifth Harmony lovers' new jam has some major '90s vibes (it's like En Vogue is BACK in the house!!). As each Little Mix member takes turns with the verse, they join forces in a sultry layered harmony on the hook. Then, things jump to an entirely new level when Missy chimes in to spit her verse: "Imma change my number, I'mma keep it distant/ Now you want me back/ You wanna pay a visit/ You get this dial tone... click click!" We have to say, in a sea of homogenous sugary sweet pop, the retro vibes of this Little Mix jam are a welcome surprise. And props to you, Simon Cowell (Little Mix is on his Syco label) -- you're the the girl band (and boy band) whisperer!

Look out for the girls' debut disc, DNA, when it arrives Stateside on May 28, featuring a collaboration with another big name: TLC's T-Boz!! OMG.
