Sabi and Tyga pay homage to the West Coast in "Cali Love."

It's been a minute since we last heard from pop songstress Sabi, but that doesn't mean we forgot about her. I mean, how could we?

We initially met the L.A.-born singer back in 2011 when she opened Britney Spears's "Femme Fatale" tour (WE KNOW -- OMFG), and since then Sabi's earned writing credits on Britney's Femme Fatale album, played a prominent role in Cobra Starship's single and video "You Make Me Feel...," slayed us with last year's "Wild Heart" video, and finally, hooked up with Wale for the infectious "Where They Do That At."

Now, Sabi's back and has teamed up with a different rapper, Tyga, for an assist on her brand-new track, "Cali Love."

Produced by Mark J. Feist, "Cali Love" is just the first taste of Sabi's upcoming EP, dropping sometime in October. Set to grimy pop beat, "Cali Love" is a lyrical love letter to the West Coast: "That California sun/ Bring the west coast love/ Won't you come and get some/ Of that California dreaming").

Tyga pops up at the end of the record, and, courtesy of some T-Pain-esque Auto-Tune, sings a hook of his own: "Top down riding on the sunset/ Don't turn the music down 'cause I'm turnt up." Unfortch, there's no mention of 2Pac's "California Love," but we'll give the almighty internet a solid hour 'til an epic mashup drops.
