New Song: Taylor Swift Featuring Ed Sheeran, ‘Everything Has Changed’

Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift make sweet music together. Literally, not figuratively.

We may have already known that Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran had plans to collaborate (and by the way, look completely adorable while doing so), but that doesn't mean we didn't still FLIP OUT once we heard the musical besties' new track "Everything Has Changed."

That's not to say we weren't obsessed with Taylor's sparkling pop-centric "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," her dubstep-infused "I Knew You Were Trouble," or the honey-dipped "State Of Grace," but there's something extra sweet about the simple, minimalist, and organic quality behind Taylor and Ed's first collaboration. Slated to appear on Taylor's forthcoming disc, Red, the track, as you might expect, is a singer/songwriter-tinged explosion of PERFECT.

Taylor and Ed alternate verses as they sing about a chance encounter that, well, changed everything: "Cause all I know is we said hello/ And your eyes look like coming home/ All I know it's a simple major/ Everything has changed." On the origin of his collabo with Taylor, Ed explained, "I remember we went out. Where did we go? I think we were in the car to the studio and she took her phone out and mumbled something and sort of put it back. And I was like 'What was that?' and she was like 'Oh, I was just singing down ideas." We know everyone is probably gonna say this, but Ed and Taylor would make the sweetest, most musically in sync couple of all time! But that's only if Ed can take out A KENNEDY.
