New Songs: Karmin, ‘Hello’ And ‘I’m Just Sayin”

Listen to two new Karmin songs, 'Hello' and 'I'm Just Sayin.''

Today's gonna be a dope day for Karmin diehards, because we're bringing you not one but two blazing new Karmin tracks. Slated to appear on their major label debut LP, Hello, both "I'm Just Sayin'" and "Hello" are insta-hits in our book. They might even rival our borderline unhealthy slightly intense obsession with Karmin's most recent, "Brokenhearted." Only time will tell!

Listen to Karmin's "Hello" and "I'm Just Sayin'" after the jump.

First up is "Hello" a booming, pop-dance smash cowritten by Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan (aka Karmin), Claude Kelly and Stargate. Karmin hooked up with some of the biz's hottest writers and it shows, big time. Set to a sugary sweet, synth-laden track, Amy's buttery vocals tackle the hook while her ridiculous rap flow dominates the verse: "Racetrack, two legs/ Hollywood, big break/ Suck it up, intake/ Let me tell you how it happened real quick.” Time to watch yo back, Minaj.

"I'm Just Sayin,'" on the other hand, has more of a throwback hip-hop vibe that we're kind of obsessed with. As always, Amy's rap flow is superslick, but it's kinda nice to hear the duo slow things down and sink into a midtempo hook: "Oh, if I want it/ I'm gonna get it/ And I'm just saying/ I'm just saying." On their latest tune, Karmin explains, "'I'm Just Sayin'' was one of the first songs we wrote when we moved out to Los Angeles. We felt very inspired being in a brand-new city and meeting lots of new people."

Cop Karmin's Hello LP when it drops May 8.
