We've seen Carly Rae Jepsen look all cutesy girl-next-door in the video for "Call Me Maybe" and all "I'm gonna smooch my crush tonight" in "This Kiss," so you can imagine how shocked we were to find that Carly Rae's new video for "Curiosity" is rife with make-out sessions, lingerie, wedding gowns, and looking sad and helpless in the rain. In that order.

The video kicks off harmlessly enough with the 2012 AMA performer going to visit her (very beefy) man(cake). As opposed to living in a regular apartment with a doorman, dude lives in a little cottage that turns into an "Alice In Wonderland"-style maze with doors leading to doors and hallways turning into other hallways. (Think: the Carly Rae Jepsen version of Britney Spears' "Fantasy Twist" fragrance commercial.) Instead of breaking into a literal rendition of "Complicated," Carly instead tries her luck at finding her way through the house. As she goes, we see vignettes of her kissing her man, marrying her man, and then watching her man make out with a devious-looking blonde chick wearing a bustier. Carly ends up in alone in the rain, and just as you think she's flying home single, we see a mysterious shot of her reunited with her hunky boyf. (C'mon lady, once a cheater, always a cheater!) We're pretty sure these two still have some infidelity issues to work out in couples therapy, so we'd advise all potential Carly suitors wait at least a month before trying to tap that.
