Watch Icona Pop's "Girlfriend" video: a raucous ode to ride-or-die BFFs.

After a busy night filled with crashing your car into a bridge and letting it burn, there's nothing you'd rather do than just chill out with a bestie. At least that's Icona Pop's idea in their just-released video for "Girlfriend," an easy follow-up to the Swedes' shenanigans depicted in their debut smash single, "I Love It" featuring Charli XCX. BRB though, we gotta go throw your ish into a bag and push it down the stairs. YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID.

Anyway, just as "Girlfriend" interpolates the "All I need in this life of sin is me and my girlfriend" lyrics from 2Pac's "Me And My Girlfriend," Icona Pop definitely draws visual inspiration from Jay Z and Beyoncé's 2002 collaboration video, "'03 Bonnie & Clyde." The Tim Nackashi-directed clip features Caroline and Aino road-tripping and train-hopping their way through dusty, deserted landscapes, which reminds us of Jay and Bey just as much as it does Thelma and Louise -- with the teen witch coven style from "The Craft" to match.

Icona Pop's new video for "Girlfriend" definitely reminds us of that scene from "The Craft."

On the other hand, none of the above touchstones feature a laser-lit rave sequence -- that's pure Icona Pop! And just in case you're worried that it'll be another, um, YEAR before the Swedish pop duo releases a new video, don't freak. They just released the audio for their next planned single, "All Night," and their debut album, This Is... Icona Pop, is set for a Sept. 24 arrival. Seem far away? That's only, like, two months -- aka, three days in Icona Pop time. You'll be fine.
