New Video: JJAMZ, ‘Never Enough’

This just in: We love JJAMZ.

If the video for their debut song "Never Enough" is any indication, L.A. supergroup JJAMZ are total masters at tugging your heartstrings while serving up toothache-inducing indie-pop.

Set to release their first album Suicide Pact on July 11, the band (pronounced "juh-Jamz") features Jason Boesel (Rilo Kiley, Bright Eyes), James Valentine (Maroon 5), Alex Greenwald (Phantom Planet), solo artist Michael Runion and Z Berg (The Like) -- so it's no surprise that the lineup would turn out a single as smart and super-catchy as "Never Enough." But the "Never Enough" video exceeds any expectations of greatness, emerging as a sweetly heartbreaking short film you'll want to watch over and over.

Watch JJAMZ's "Never Enough" video after the jump.

Directed by Eddie O'Keefe and co-starring actress Brie Larson as wild child Z's possibly smitten BFF, "Never Enough" opens with the two rolling out of bed to play some records, flip some pancakes and smoke some cigarettes in the bathtub -- you know, typical bestie stuff. After a day-long spree that includes hitting the beach to write their initials in the sand, driving out to the desert to shoot things with Brie's scary-huge rifle and breaking into someone else's swimming pool, the girls drop by a party where Z ends up riding off on the back of some pompadoured jerk's motorcycle.

Drunk and ditched, Brie's left to wander around the streets of L.A. and then head home to swig red wine straight from the bottle -- till Z comes crawling back, looking pathetically glamorous in her leopard-fur coat. The last shot's killer and the whole video's so gorgeously shot, guaranteed to leave you crushed out and just plain crushed.
