Mariah Carey is overcome with emotion in the video for "Almost Home" from Oz: The Great and Powerful.

Brace yourselves: There's a new Mariah Carey video afoot! And it's not just any Mariah Carey video -- it's the video for her new song "Almost Home," which as you ought to know by now, will be featured in Disney's upcoming "The Wizard Of Oz" prequel, "Oz: The Great And Powerful." Judging by the preview for "Almost Home," we expected the full video to include a lot of classic Mariah moves like hair-flipping, strutting, wind machines, hand-raising, and long gowns, all of which IS there. And now we can't WAIT to see James Franco, Mila Kunis, and Michelle Williams on the big screen. Although we have to ask, wouldn't it make sense for Mariah to cameo as one of the witches' beautiful cousins? Eep, sorry, we'll say anything to get Mariah more screen time.

Shot in black-and-white (like Kansas! Symbolism!), the video for "Almost Home" has a surprisingly minimalist vibe (but then, Mariah doesn't need a lot of bells and whistles -- just her voice). A sensationally glamorous Mariah stands in an empty room with only a stool for a prop, but don't worry -- she didn't forget to rock a ball gown and break out the wind machine. As Mariah belt out the lyrics, flips her hair, and struts across the screen, we're treated to some lushly colorful, never-before-seen clips from "Oz."

Catch "Oz: The Great And Powerful" when it hits theaters on March 8 (today!), and please excuse us while we look for a fan to use as a pretend wind machine.
