Ra Ra Riot's Beta Love is an electro-powered chronicle of android emotions, so it's no wonder the band's "Binary Mind" video gets a little sci-fi. It turns out androids dream of a whole lot more than electric sheep: The animated video is a candy-colored psychedelic epic that features the band's floating heads, the moon playing bass and singer Wes Miles going blue-haired and crying clouds of eyeball beasts. Seapunk! Don't watch this on drugs, kids. (Don't do drugs!)

The surreal imagery wraps around a very human song of love and loss: "I wanna reach you with this binary mind… so I can forget how lonely feels," Miles sings over jittery rock riffs. But it's about more than a robo-girlfriend: "It's written from the perspective of a fictionalized version of futurist Ray Kurzweil," Miles told NPR, referencing the writer and inventor who thinks technology will help us live forever and revive the dead -- including his late father. That's cool, but while we wait, we're just gonna upload our brains directly into this video. Cloud life.
