The Wonder Years return to Pennsylvania in their "Passing Through A Screen Door" video.

It's been a couple of months since we first heard "Passing Through A Screen Door," the standout track on The Wonder Years' The Greatest Generation album. A lot of good songs have come and gone since then, but this is still our pick for the most viscerally effecting. Now the Pennsylvania pop-punk heroes have a video to go with the track, and it's every bit as reflective as you might expect.

The video, which premiered on KROQ.com, was filmed in Lansdale, Penn., a town you may have heard of because, well, The Wonder Years are from there, and that's about it. *Checks Wikipedia*

Given the song's subject, the feeling of watching the people around you pass you by as they move on with their lives, the repetitive nature of the clip makes sense. We follow a twentysomething dude as he watches the world go by from the window of a train, which is right up there at the top of the list of the most emo things to do on public transit.

We asked lead singer Dan "Soupy" Campbell about the song when it first came out back in April.

"I like to call 'Passing Through a Screen Door' an atypical love song," he said. "It's all of my anxiety over the pace that the world dictates I should live my life and the 'next big step.' It's questioning if I'll ever be ready for the kids and the house and the wife and the lawn and the PTA meetings. I've spent my whole life running from that idea, and now I'm surrounded by the fact that everyone I know is starting to become a part of that reality. I don't know if I can handle it, but there's that little glimmer of hope: that 'I was kind of hoping you'd stay' line that's saying, 'I'm not sure if I'm ready right now, but don't give up on me yet.'"
