New Video: will.i.am Featuring Britney Spears, ‘Scream & Shout’

Britney and will.i.am slay their "Scream & Shout" video.

Britney Spears and will.i.am were once co-mentors on "The X Factor,"  and now they're officially collaborating on their futuristic electro jam "Scream & Shout." Admittedly, there were some parts of "Scream & Shout" we didn't totally love (Britney, bb, we wanna hear you SANG), but there were also parts that had us weeping and repenting, like that moment where Brit does a heavy Madonna-fied British accent and that other time will.i.am goes all "Gimme More" on us with "It's Britney, bitch." And now that the "Scream & Shout" video has descended upon us from heaven, and although there's 0.0 plot, there is A LOT OF BRITNEY LOOKING BANGIN' AND SMIZING, which is precisely why we love it. Plus, those vanity shots of a Burberry print camera don't hurt either. (ON MY CHANUKKAH LIST RIGHT NOW!)

Watch Will.i.am and Britney Spears' "Scream & Shout" video after the jump.

Directed by Ben Mor, the ultrastylized video premiered last night on "The X Factor," and features will.i.am draped in a solid gold camera necklace (we'd link to a Google image if such existed!) and Britney rocking a midriff-revealing crop top and some Brigitte Bardot-inspired hair. Amid party scenes of the most fashionable of the 1 percent (i.e. will's "King" hat and a ridiculously expensive-looking whip), Britney and will are eventually joined by a dance troupe who provide the obligatory "this is a pop video with impressive choreography" moment. Unfortunately, we don't see will and Britney interact much more in "Scream & Shout," but that one shot of Britney wearing a bedazzled leotard while holding two burning disco balls definitely makes up for it. Also, we get it -- if Brit and will DID appear in the same shot for too long, our computer/phone/tablet screens would probably explode into a fiery ball of FERSOHA.
