NHL 21 Is Not Coming To PC, EA Confirms

The retailer GameStop recently posted a product page for NHL 21 on PC, but this was a mistake. EA Sports has confirmed that the new ice hockey game will not be released on PC.

The game is scheduled to release on October 16--which is later than usual due to issues related to COVID-19--and it will be available only for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This is no surprise, given that the series has not been released on PC for more than a decade now.

The real-world NHL season recently started back up again, beginning with the playoffs which have been exciting so far. EA likely would have wanted to have the game out sooner to capitalize on the hype, but complications related to working from home caused delays. When NHL 21 is released on October 16, the playoffs will have been over for more than a week.
