Nicolas Cage’s Face On Halo Stuff Is Frightening And Kinda Awesome

Did you ever play the original Halo: Combat Evolved and wish it had more Nicolas Cage?

Now you're in luck, as YouTuber Gunner (via Kotaku) has published two videos that show us what it would look like if the National Treasure actor's face was plastered everywhere in the acclaimed 2001 sci-fi game.

Cage is frightenly omnipresent in this version of the game. Thanks to the mod, which replaces Halo textures with Cage's face, we see the actor almost everywhere. His face is now Cortana's face, Master Chief's face; his face is now the HUD; he is everywhere.

Putting Nicolas Cage's face on things is something that happens on the Internet, so you shouldn't be surprised that someone finally put Nicolas Cage's face on Halo stuff. It's not even the first time we've seen Cage in a video game; a texture mod revealed in April allowed us to see Nicolas Cage in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which includes remastered versions of Halo 1-4 (without Nicolas Cage), launches on November 11 for Xbox One.
