The Pokémon Trading Card Game Online is coming to iPad later this year.

The game, which works just like the physical card game in which two players choose different Pokémon and attacks from their decks, is already available digitally through Pokémon's official website, but this will be the first time it's been released on iOS.

The game was first spotted on Josh Wittenkeller's Twitter account, where he posted a picture of what looks like The Pokémon Trading Card Game Online for PC running on Apple's tablet. A Pokémon Company representative later confirmed with Polygon that the game is indeed real and that it's set to release before the end of the year.

If you want to see Pokémon being played at highest level, you can tune into the Pokémon Twitch channel this weekend to catch the 2014 Pokémon World Championships in Washington, DC, where the best players from around the world have gathered to compete in both the Pokémon Trading Card Game and the video game. You can find the stream and schedule here.
