PS5 Exclusive Destruction All-Stars Delayed To 2021, Will Be A Free PS Plus Game

The arcade car game Destruction All-Stars has been pushed out of its prior PlayStation 5 launch day release. Rather than November, the first-party Sony game will now release in February 2021. But on the bright side, the announcement also gave word that it will be a free game for PlayStation Plus members.

A post on the PlayStation Blog from product development director Pete Smith emphasizes how important it is to throw down in a destruction derby with plenty of other players, so it will be available for two months for PlayStation Plus members, starting at the game's launch. That should get plenty of people aboard so you can knock them around. The announcement suggests it will be available to claim for two months, after which you would probably be able to keep it with your Plus subscription.

If you've already preordered the game, you'll get a refund. The blog also promises a new trailer and details coming next week, to further sate your appetite for the February release.
