We're so used to seeing Selena Gomez glammed up in retro swimming suits and doing sexy dance routines that catching a glimpse of her wearing geek-tastic glasses only further proves that she CAN DO NOTHING WRONG (including taking duckface selfies, which is just unheard of). We're also totally getting a "She's All That" vibe from this pic. It's like Selena's playing the role of "nerdy girl who falls in love with some hot bro and live happily ever after (sigh). OK... maybe our addiction to early '00s rom-coms is finally getting the best of us (and we need some real friends who aren't named Netflix).

The "Spring Breakers" actress was snapped by infamous photographer Terry Richardson (dude's BFF contact list also includes Lady Gaga and Jared Leto, FTW). Actually, those are Terry's glasses Selena's wearing! And now that we think of it, we've seen another gorg pop star rocking Terry's specs just like this -- remember Beyoncé's similar photo? Maybe Selena's channeling a little Queen B for that new record she's working on?! ORRR maybe they both just really like doing Steve Urkel impressions in their spare time -- because, um, WHO DOESN'T?
