Every actor has a beginning, as very few in the spotlight are found on the street, just hanging out. However, Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin--who plays Lucas on the hit Netflix series--has had a few odd jobs before his breakout success. And one of these is him singing a song about Washington D.C., the capital of the United States. Join us on a journey as we all do a double-take at someone in the background of a segment from five years ago.

On the August 2, 2015 episode of HBO's Last Week Tonight With John Oliver, Washington D.C. statehood was the main story topic. The segment closed with Oliver joining a group of kids on some steps, as they all sang a song. One of those kids is McLaughlin. Check it out below.
