Succession Season 3 Premieres On October 17

The premiere date for Succession Season 3 has been confirmed. HBO has announced that the award-winning comedy-drama will return on October 17.

HBO has also released an official synopsis for the season. It reads, "Ambushed by his rebellious son Kendall at the end of Season 2, Logan Roy begins Season 3 in a perilous position, scrambling to secure familial, political, and financial alliances. Tensions rise as a bitter corporate battle threatens to turn into a family civil war." If you saw the end of Season 2, you'll know that "family civil war" is probably putting it mildly.

The hugely entertaining first trailer for Succession Season 3 was released in July. All the main cast are set to return, including Brian Cox as Logan, Jeremy Strong as Kendall, Kieran Culkin as Roman, Sarah Snook as Siobhan, Matthew Macfadyen as Tom, Hiam Abbass as Marcia, Nicholas Braun as Greg, and Alan Ruck as Connor. New cast members for this season include Alexander SkarsgÄrd (Godzilla vs. Kong), Adrien Brody (Peaky Blinders), and Hope Davis (Captain America: Civil War).
