TCL Unveils New 85-Inch TVs, Including HDMI 2.1, 4K And 120Hz Options

With the release of the PS5 and Xbox Series X last year, new TVs have been on the minds of many. There are already some great options to choose from, but TCL has just added three more to consider. At CES 2021, the company revealed a new XL Collection, which is comprised of three 85-inch TVs. If you're looking for a huge TV for your movies and games, then this collection is one you'll want to check out.

The first is a more affordable 4-Series model with a 4K display that costs $1,600. The second is a QLED model that features Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and HDMI 2.1, the latter of which is used for variable refresh rates and 4K with 120Hz in gaming. Finally, the third model boasts an 8K resolution and TCL's own mini-LED technology. The 8K TV features 120Hz for 8K and 60Hz, though it's unclear if it can also display at 4K and 120Hz. The 4-Series model is planned to release before the end of March, while no price or timing has been revealed for the other two televisions. They will arrive after the 4-Series, but that's all we know at this time.
