The Excellent Victrix Pro BFG Controller Is Getting An Xbox Version

One of the best pro controllers is finally coming to Xbox. Victrix will release an Xbox version of its Pro BFG modular pro controller early next year. Like the existing PlayStation version, the Xbox edition Pro BFG will feature a modular design and other customizable options so players can create their preferred button layouts, and swap between different configurations on the fly while playing on console or PC.

The Xbox Pro BFG edition features the standard Xbox controller's button labels, including the share, menu, and Xbox dashboard buttons, and comes in either white or black color schemes. Both models will be available for preorder at Victrix's online store (and likely other retailers) starting in January, and you can sign up to be notified when they go on sale. The controller launches in February 2024.

The Xbox Pro BFG ships with three main modules, including a reversible left module with a thumbstick and D-pad and two right modules--one with the standard four face buttons and thumbstick, and another with six face buttons designed for fighting games. It also comes with four interchangeable thumbsticks with varying lengths and either concave or convex tops, four thumbstick gates (which change which positions the thumbsticks can move to), and three D-pad styles. All of the components are neatly stored in a hardshell carrying case.
