As we all gear up and head out to get in line for Force Friday let’s take a look back at the past Star Wars Midnight Madness events for Episode 1, 2, 3 and Clone Wars:

Episode I

Star Wars Episode 1 Toys go on sale at midnight at a Toys R Us in Brandon Florida. From the TV show Geek Unique. Aired in mid 1999.

Episode II – I went to a TRU in So Cal for the Episode II Midnight Madness sale.  They had learned their lessons from the chaos of the Episode I MM sale and instead of everyone fighting over figures on a 5′ section of pegs they just dumped ALL the figures in kiddie pools and let collectors graze on them like feeding troughs.

Episode III

Star Wars fans line up for the midnight release of… TOYS for Episode III! Ever since the Episode 1 onslaught of new merchandise, fans wait every 3 years for the new wave of themed toys for the new movie. The final Midnight Madness for Star Wars toys is captured exclusively by LiningUpTV
