Tomb Raider TV Series Coming To Amazon From Phoebe Waller-Bridge

Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny) is reportedly developing a TV series based on the Tomb Raider video games. The Hollywood Reporter was first to report.

According to unnamed sources, Waller-Bridge will write the scripts for the series, with no plans for her to star in the TV adaptation. She will executive produce the series alongside Amazon's former head of comedy and drama, Ryan Andolina, plus former head of overall deals Amanda Greenblatt. No official comment or detailshave been issued yet.

Tomb Raider is the latest project for Waller-Bridge with Amazon under her overall deal with the streaming platform. She is also developing and writing an adaptation of the Claudia Lux novel Sign Here, which is a "darkly humorous, surprisingly poignant, and utterly gripping debut novel about a guy who works in Hell (literally) and is on the cusp of a big promotion."
