AMCFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Tune-in for the finale of the undead television phenomenon that continues to deliver strong ratings, reaching over 11 million viewers this past week.  The season three finale of “The Walking Dead” airs on Sunday, March 31st at 9pm ET/PT on AMC.  This season, critics have been raving about the series, including The Hollywood Reporter’s Tim Goodman who said, “This series just gets better every season — sometimes every episode.  It remains compelling and scary and has some of the best characters on television.”

This week AMC kicks off Zombie Apocalypse Marathon, airing each episode of “The Walking Dead to date every night in primetime.  Throughout the week, episodes from Seasons 1 and 2 will air in order, followed by a Season 3 marathon on Sat., Mar. 30 at 8/7c that leads up to the Season 3 Finale, “Welcome to the Tombs” on Sun, Mar. 31 at 9/8c.

On the season three finale of “The Walking Dead,” “Welcome to the Tombs,” Rick and the group have to seriously consider if the prison is worth defending as the Governor’s impending attack looms over their heads.

Then, catch a new episode of the live after-show “Talking Dead” hosted by Chris Hardwick at 10pm ET/PT.

Additionally, viewers can tune-in for AMC’s Real Original Thursdays on Thursday, March 28th starting at 9 PM ET/PT.  From a sword swallower to a road-kill couturier, Thursday’s all-new block of unscripted programming includes casts of truly original characters on  “Comic Book Men(9pm ET/PT)  “Freakshow” (9:30pm ET/PT)  and “Immortalized” (10pm ET/PT).

On the new episode of “Comic Book Men,” the series set at Kevin Smith’s New Jersey comic book store Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash, Kevin visits the Stash for a book signing and brings Jay along for security.  On the episode entitled “Tough Sh*t,” a customer brings in original artwork from a beloved franchise.  Then, on “Freakshow” Jesse the Half Man and Jim the Armless Wonder visit the Freakshow and show off their superhuman abilities. Todd is faced with a difficult decision on an episode appropriately titled “Freaks of Nature.”  On the new episode of “Immortalized,” Immortalizer Dave Houser vies against Challenger Erich Carter with the theme “First Love.”
