UDON COLLECTIBLES TO DEBUT EVANGELION COLLECTIBLE PINS EXCLUSIVELY AT ANIME EXPO

Toronto, ON –June 26, 2017 – UDON Collectibles is proud to announce their newest line of collectible merchandise – the EVANGELION CHARACTER COLLECTOR’S PIN SERIES. Following in the footsteps of the popular Street Fighter II Character Select Pins and the Persona 4  Puzzle Pin series, UDON Collectibles is expanding its licenses to the anime world.

Neon Genesis Evangelion, produced by Studio Khara, is arguably the most influential show in modern anime history. The show’s success has spawned multiple movies, toys, manga, video games, and all types of merchandise in Japan — much of it highly sought after by collectors.

“We’ve recently passed the 20th anniversary of Evangelion, and I have been a big fan of the show since its original television run,” says UDON Chief, Erik Ko. “We’ve had great success publishing the Evangelion Chronicles art books, and now I am also proud that we can produce some really cool merchandise for the EVA fans.”

The Evangelion Character Collector’s Pins are made of high quality cloisonné hard enamel creating a jewel-like finish and are highly durable.  A multiple silk-screen printing process was used on each pin to ensure every detail was replicated properly resulting in each character looking faithful to their on-screen presence. Each pin measures almost two inches wide, and will be sold mounted on a handsome backer card with a silver foil stamped logo and spot gloss pattern.

The first six characters in the series will include Rei, Asuka, Mari, Shinji, Kaworu, and Gendo. These six pins will make their debut exclusively at the UDON booth (#3218) at Anime Expo which will take place during July 1 – July 4 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The retail price of each pin will be $15.00. Quantities are limited so be sure to get to the UDON booth early.
