Can we talk for a second about how major this year has been for Taylor Swift? Not only has our girl adopted a totally new, fresh look (trading in demure blonde curls for considerably edgier bangs), but once she unleashed her fourth studio album Red onto the world, Taylor Swift 2.0 was officially in full swing. Whether we were tracking Taylor's romantic conquests, listing all of her red dresses and surprised faces, drooling over her vintage-inspired outfits, following her countless award show wins, recalling every breakup we ever went through via songs like "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and "Begin Again," watching her nearly shut down Times Square on "Good Morning America," and AWWW-ing over her adorable cat Meredith, all Taylor news boiled down to one thing: Taylor Swift WON at life in 2012. 1.) Taylor Swift wins two GRAMMYs: Taylor took home GRAMMYs for Best Country Solo Performance Grammy and Best Country Song. Because she is amazing.

.) Taylor Swift tops Forbes' list of Top Earning Celebs Under 30: Taylor dominated Forbes' Top Earning Celebs Under 30 list with an estimated $57 million earned between May 2011 and May 2012. Do we need to remind you again? SHE'S 22. We need to crawl under the nearest rug now.

.) Taylor Swift gets Punk’d by Justin Bieber: Justin Bieber's got a big trucker hat to fill, what with taking on Ashton Kutcher's old Punk'd role and all, but that one time Biebs punk'd Taylor Swift will always live on in our memories as being AWESOME. Here's what happened: Biebs punk'd Taylor into believing that she lit a boat on fire -- a boat holding a couple getting married! Seeing the frantic look on her face was more than entertaining, but we also give her tons of props for being such a good sport in the end.

.) Taylor Swift releases "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together"The first single off of Red, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" was the first song of Taylor's to peak at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, and the first song to stay at number one for more than one week! Not only that, but after its release, the pop-fueled track went to number one on the iTunes singles chart in 50 minutes, making "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" the fastest selling single in digital history. Aaaand this is the part where your jaws drop.

.) Taylor Swift gives a killer 2012 MTV VMA performance: In addition to making approximately 17 new surprised faces, Taylor killed her very first televised performance of "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together on the 2012 MTV VMA stage.

.) Taylor Swift wins big at the 2012 MTV EMA: In addition to her circus-inspired performance of "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," Taylor scooped up three EMA awards -- Best Look, Best Live, and Best Female.

.) Taylor Swift releases/breaks all kinds of records with Red: Selling over one million copies in its first week, Red debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, and even scored the highest number one debut in the US for the 2010s decade so far. And she's only 22! Gah.

.) Taylor Swift looks gorgeous in Paris: We always knew that Taylor was a pretty girl, but there was something especially picturesque about seeing her wandering (and sometimes cycling) the streets of Paris in all-vintage everything in her video for "Begin Again." If only we looked that cute sitting in a cafe, meet-cuting hot Parisian model dudes!

.) Taylor Swift nearly shuts down Times Square: Not only did she mime every emotion ever on her October visit to "Good Morning America," but Taylor nearly closed down Times Square with a performance of "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and "Red." We know this because we almost physically didn't make it in to work that day (our office being in Times Square and all).

.) Taylor Swift crosses genres...AGAIN: Well known for going making the leap from country to pop and back again, Taylor dipped her toes into the dubstep pool with Red's EDM-influenced “I Knew You Were Trouble.” And of COURSE she nailed it.

.) Taylor Swift gets dramatic at the 2012 American Music Awards: Performing a theatrical rendition of the dubstep-tinged "I Knew You Were Trouble" at the AMAs, Taylor proved that she wasn't that innocent in a deep red (RED!) bustier as she headbanged her way through the track.
