Let's talk about Ivan & Alyosha, shall we? They're a totally adorable Seattle four-piece named after a pair of characters from Dostoevsky's The Brothers Karamazov, which also means THEY'RE VERY SMART. Because they've read that book, you know? So, moving right along, along with throngs of devoted fans, the boys' lush and folky vibe (think a less stompy Mumford meets Fleet Foxes!) has earned them spots opening for heavy-hitters like Aimee Mann, Brandi Carlile, and The Low Anthem -- just to name a few. Because we could name more, but we're trying to keep our ish together over here and not come off as too fan girl-y. But that probably already happened, didn't it?

In anticipation of the release of their first full-length disc, All the Times We Had, Ivan & Alyosha are hitting the road in 2013. But, in the meantime, they've released a brand-new single, "Running For Cover," as well as a live performance video filmed at Avast Studios in their hometown of Seattle. And, we're just gonna come out and say it because we know you're thinking it, too...HOLY HARMONIES! Because we can't remember the last time we heard such tightly knit, stunning harmonies emanating from one group. Oh wait, yes we can...and they were called Fleetwood Mac. Seriously, guys, do not sleep on Ivan & Alyosha. And if you do, it's only because their voices lilted you into a blissful trance that's even better than sleep.
