In the video, each of the soundtrack's contributors praise "Gatsby" director Baz Luhrmann, saying that in addition to his films, his soundtracks are also "iconic." In his interview, Gatsby soundtrack producer Jay-Z touches on the soundtrack's immense Jazz Age influence: "I like to think of it as a character." And how could it not be, with songs like Beyoncé and Andre 3000's "Back To Black" cover, Jay-Z's "100$ Bill," and Emeli Sandé's "Crazy In Love" take??

Leonardo DiCaprio (he plays Jay Gatsby!) also shows up to talk about the soundtrack and its hip-hop influence: "I love how infusing hip-hop makes you understand the sort of cultural references and what it would be like if these people existed today." Yeah, so, Jay-Z PLUS Leo speaking intelligently about music? You MIGHT wanna tune in -- and maybe also watch Leo DiCaprio in the privacy of your own home. (TMI.)
