Xbox Game Pass Cloud Gaming Launching With 170+ Games

Xbox's xCloud streaming service is introducing a huge influx of games in time for its official launch on September 15. The streaming service is coming as part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, letting you stream games onto your mobile device with the same all-you-can-eat subscription. And as you might suspect, at launch the streaming options share a lot of similarities with the current Game Pass subscription library.

That means it includes first-party games like Forza Horizon 4, Grounded, and Tell Me Why, along with partner games like Spiritfarer and Untitled Goose Game. Some of the listed titles, like Halo: Master Chief Collection, actually include more than one game in the package.

The announcement also notes that your Xbox profile will come along with you, so if you started a game of Wasteland 3 with Game Pass on Xbox One, you can take that save to your Android phone or tablet. You can also group up with your friends easily since your friends list is all maintained across devices, and Microsoft suggests it could eventually be used to play multiplayer without additional devices or TVs.
