In a bid to "add variety" to Xbox Fitness on Xbox One, Microsoft today launched a new exercise program that allows you to virtually work out with NFL star Russell Wilson, quarterback of the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks. The new "Athlete Fit with Russell Wilson" for Xbox One is available now through Xbox Fitness; it is free with your Xbox Live Gold membership.

In the "high-intensity" workout, Wilson will take you through a number of power, agility, strength, and speed drills. The program focuses on 20- and 40-second energetic burst drills that claim to give you "maximum results in minimum time." You can do the workouts in any order, and Microsoft mentions in an Xbox Wire blog post that these workouts will progress with you as you get stronger.

Wilson is the first NFL star to be featured on Xbox Fitness, but he's not the only well-known person with a workout regimen on the platform. Others include P90X creator Tony Horton, and fitness personalities Jillian Michaels and Tracy Anderson.
