Ark: Survival Ascended Had “Critical Issues” On Console, Which Prompted Delay To November

Ark: Survival Evolved's remake, Survival Ascended, is out now on Steam Early Access, but the console edition for PlayStation and Xbox has been delayed to November. In a blog post, developer Studio Wildcard said the team found some "critical issues" related to the game's multiplayer.

These issues "would have had major implications," so Studio Wildcard opted to delay Survival Ascended on console to November. The studio did not, however, discuss what these issues were.

"We understand that this news is disappointing, and trust us, we're disappointed too. The team really did aim to get everything out for all platforms in October, but we fell short just at the finish line," Studio Wildcard said. "We're sorry about that, as we know a lot of you have been very excited about this launch and made plans around it."
